Gold is a Bass Music producer and DJ from Birmingham, UK. He has been active on the DJ circuit in and around the Midlands since the late 90s where he started out playing Hip Hop, Reggae, Break Beat and later UK Garage, DnB and Jungle.
His sets boast an eclectic mix of bass driven music which has strongly influenced his musical tastes, taking the listener on a journey through his always evolving production techniques while keeping the vibes strictly dance floor!

The Godfather of breaks..... Rennie Pilgrem
Son of a jazz trumpeter, Rennie grew up listening to Charlie Parker and playing various funk bands in Kent on tenor saxophone.
In 1989 he formed Rhythm Section with Dj Ellis D, Nick Scott and Richie T. As well as playing at every Rave worth mentioning, Rhythm Section released a the huge ‘Comin’ On Strong’ EP which stayed in the Dance Charts for 18 months and sold over 20,000 copies.
